The final Wichita Eagle high school basketball rankings were released today. The Gardner Edgerton Trailblazers rank 5th statewide and 3rd in Class 5A. The 1st and 2nd spots in Class 5A are held by Bishop Miege and McPherson, respectively.
The Lady Blazers are recognized as being within the top girls basketball teams in Class 5A. (Only the top 5 girls teams are ranked.)

***Why would you put a / between Gardner and Edgerton? Even if there was a symbol between Gardner Edgerton (there's not) it would be a - and not a /.

Proud Dad, yours was an excellent response to our resident curmudgeon. Despite her contrary doubts, I have generally found that our students who participate in extra-curricular activities, including sports, are also fine scholars and school leaders, frequently involved in outside community service. Congratulations to them all. They define our Blazer Spirit.

The girls starting Varsity is 4.0. As a matter of fact they all are in Honors classes. Thanks for your sincere request.
